Management Buyout Organic Flavour Company

‘Continued growth through drive and expertise’

Veenendaal, April 10th 2017. A team of six colleagues has acquired the shares of Organic Flavour Company from parent company Spize Holding. The acquisition finds its place in the company’s growth strategy and vision for the future. “Organic Flavour Company employees have a common motivation: providing for a healthy and fair food chain. This drive, coupled with 38 years of experience in organic teas, herbs and spices, forms the basis for further growth,” says director and co-owner Peter van de Steeg.

Future

Organic Flavour Company, with its expertise and long-standing cooperation with international projects, is a renowned player in the international herb and spice market. With the increasing complexity in the organic sector, it has proven a reliable partner that takes care of its B2B customers. The growth path being travelled will be accelerated.

With the distinctive and fast growing brand Natural Temptation, Organic Flavour Company is focusing on the (international) consumer market in the category teas, herbs and spices. For distribution, the focus is on the natural food channel. The pure ingredients of the carefully selected recipes come mainly from partners in Vietnam and Egypt, which among others are Fairtrade certified.

100% organic, fair and transparent

Organic Flavour Company products are guaranteed organic. A fair price for farmers and the further development of the agricultural sector is clearly important to ensuring the sustained availability of good organic raw materials. Organic Flavour Company is a proponent of a transparent chain and sees itself as the link between customer and source. In this role, it aims to make a significant contribution to a sustainable food chain.
